Here at D.S.M.A., you'll learn the distinction between what you can cast and what you think you can cast. Or, you'll become another wall ornament. Either seems like an accomplishment, yeah?"
Dark's School for Magical Advancement, commonly referred to as D.S.M.A., is a school for aspiring spellcasters. Priests, paladins, warlocks, druids, shaman, and the iconic mage all can find a home at the school, albeit a home riddled with regular lethal circumstances. Those seeking a higher magical knowledge and asylum, in the literal sense of the word, will find D.S.M.A. to be the place for them.
History[]
Formed on the humane basis that too many young magi were dying due to working magic that was simply above their egotistical little heads, D.S.M.A. was created to thwart death from snatching up possibly bright disciples of magic. Founded by utterly insane and pyromaniacal Magister Hathrenair Miri'el and his research partner, Vanara Sin'Thenas, the two scoured Azeroth to find students with the desire to learn. Originally, only magi were accepted into the school; Of the first students, all were specialists in one of the three arcane arts. Within the first to walk tbe halls of the school, only two remain; The Headmaster himself and Calithel Lightsong, whom now holds the position of a teacher. The school was left in ash, despite enjoying a period of prosperity: Only one class a week, students abandoning their studies, an excess of chaos above what is required. However, with the force of a phoenix that Kael'Thalas would have cried about, the combined effort of the members and their leaders pushed D.S.M.A. through its slump and into the gritty world of magical education once again.

D.S.M.A.'s main base of operations is a derelict boat in perpetual anchor at Sunsail Anchorage, the interior of which has been heavily modified through expansive arcane spells, wards, rituals and explosions. Silvermoon City serves as a site for classes hosted by D.S.M.A., both the Farstrider's Training Field and Sunfury Spire.
As of recently, the school's members have taken a corner of Silvermoon City for their own. This corner, which once had an outstanding reputation, is located at the Northern end of the Walk of Elders.
Now, after even more trial and stupidity in Silvermoon, D.S.M.A. has relocated to Orgrimmar. Obviously, their new home is situated right next to a bar. Classy, eh?
