When war broke out in Northrend, Hadrian was one of many who enlisted in the Valiance Expedition. He spent his first few weeks in Northrend doing menial tasks ordered by his leadership. During this time, Hadrian became closely acquainted with George Farsings, Terimas Manning, and Calvin Brookes.

Battle of the Wrathgate

He was one of the few men picked to join Ghorin's Infantry Unit to join Bolvar Fordragon's forces at Angrathar the Wrathgate. Unlike Calvin and Terimas, Hadrian stayed by Ghorin's side during their travel to Fordragon Hold. Hadrian was noted to have fought bravely during the battle, however, he was killed by the Forsaken Blight launched by Grand Apothecary Putress.

Defending Icecrown Citadel

After his death, Hadrian was resurrected by the Lich King to serve the Scourge and defend against the Assault on Icecrown Citadel. During the assault, he killed numerous Argent Crusaders before he spotted Terimas Manning. In the midst of the assault, Hadrian and Terimas dueled each other in the courtyard of Icecrown Citadel. Hadrian gained the upper hand after knocking away Brighthammer from Terimas, forcing him to fight hand to hand. He forced Terimas' head into a saronite anvil, however, Terimas eventually distracted him by spitting in his face and smashed Hadrian's head in with Brighthammer, killing him.

Physical appearance

Hadrian was a bulky young man with thick black hair. He had thick eyebrows, a broad nose, and a cleft chin. Calvin noted that there was a striking resemblance between Hadrian and King Varian Wrynn. Due to this, some would jokingly call him "Private Chin".

After he was raised from the dead, his skin was milk white with glowing blue eyes. His hair became frail and gray.
